Since joining InterSystems in 1984, he has been instrumental in developing an automated support tracking system, customer training programs for all InterSystems software products, creation and implementation of service standards designed to improve responsiveness and increase customer satisfaction, and multiple domestic and international team-building initiatives.

Ignacio Diaz Sanchez is Chief Process Innovation Officer, Bumrungrad International Hospital, a global pioneer in providing world-class healthcare services and international patient support for nearly four decades. He has been leading Bumrungrad’s Information Technology Division since August 2019. Ignacio Diaz started his career in healthcare informatics in 2002 when he lead the business development team at Global Care Solutions (GCS), a Bumrungrad subsidiary company that developed and marketed Hospital 2000, their Hospital Information System. After GCS was acquired by Microsoft in 2008 Ignacio started to work directly with Bumrungrad in different roles to help improve the hospital’s business processes with the use of technology. From 2014 he has played a central role in the reorganization of Bumrungrad’s IT Division and the management of its operations.

Kate Lau is an experienced Technical Specialist and Sales Engineer with a strong background in healthcare IT. She spent two years at InterSystems, focusing on InterSystems IRIS data platform, where she made significant contributions to various healthcare projects. In addition, Kate played a key role in the EMR to FHIR repository project, SATUSEHAT, leveraging her expertise to enhance the project's success. With two years of experience as a Technical Specialist, Kate supported the TrakCare EMR Product, ensuring it fit the customers' workflows seamlessly.
Luciano Brustia leads Asia Pacific business operations for InterSystems. Since joining in 2003, Brustia has held a number of leadership roles in the company and been instrumental in buildinglong-term relationships with customers and implementation partners in more than 15 countries on four continents.
Prior to joining InterSystems, he worked as an implementation partner for InterSystems and as CIO for several groups of hospitals in Italy. He studied Electrical Engineering at Polytechnic University of Milan and received his Master’s degree in Information Technology Management in SDA Bocconi School of Management, 1995.
Mark Holmes brings more than 25 years of experience in supply chain consulting, logistics/manufacturing operations, and software development from such organizations as Dow Chemical, GS1 (Brussels), Aspen Technology, Geodis, and CGI.
He specializes in working with manufacturers and FMCG companies to solve their most difficult supply chain issues through digital transformation with a modern data fabric architecture. Holmes has been a board member for the Association for Supply Chain Management and is APICS certified in Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution (CTLD) from the same organization. He earned a BS degree in business administration from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
As Head of Supply Chain for InterSystems, Ming is responsible for the overall supply chain product roadmap, strategies, and technology solutions. Ming brings over two decades of industry experiences, rich technical expertise, and problem-solving skills to InterSystems, and helps clients to tackle complex business and supply chain challenges.
Graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Ming had various technical and leadership roles in companies like GE, IBM, etc. Over the past decade, he worked exclusively in supply chain domain, and helped many Fortune 500 companies on their supply chain modernization projects.
Since 1986, Paul Grabscheid has used his expertise in database and application development tools and technologies in a variety of product planning and marketing roles at InterSystems. Prior to that, he served as director of marketing for Mathematica, a database and 4GL software company, helping to expand the company’s worldwide presence. When the company was acquired by Martin Marietta he served as director of marketing for that firm’s Information Technology Division, overseeing marketing efforts for a number of system software, application software, and computer services product lines.
Grabscheid’s background also includes consulting work involving the development of decision support systems for state governments. He holds a Master’s degree from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Russell Leftwich, MD, FAMIA, serves as a Senior Clinical Advisor for interoperability at InterSystems, a global data technology company. Dr Leftwich is a frequent presenter in the U.S. and internationally around the FHIR data standard. He is on the board of the HL7 FHIR Foundation and has previously served as director and treasurer of the HL7 International board. He co-chairs HL7 Learning Health Systems WG and Clinical Interoperability Council and has been involved in the creation of the FHIR standard since its beginning. He is active in the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) and is a Fellow of AMIA.
Dr Leftwich practiced medicine in Nashville for 22 years, served as Chief Medical Informatics Officer for the State of Tennessee, and is an adjunct Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr Leftwich is board certified in Internal Medicine, Immunology, and Clinical Informatics. He received the HIMSS Physician IT Leadership Award for outstanding contributions to the ONC Standards and Interoperability Framework.
Mr Setiaji is a distinguished digital leader with extensive experience in Smart City development and digital transformation in government. As the Chief Digital Transformation Officer at the Ministry of Health, he spearheads digital health initiatives, driving innovation and improving public services. His career includes pivotal roles such as Head of Communication & Informatic Agency in West Java and Head of Jakarta Smart City.
